Westone Capital Corporation was founded by Gordon L. Horsman and has been in business for more than 40 years. Headquartered in Vancouver, BC, Westone has initiated more than $1,200 million of real estate acquisitions and development projects.
Mr. Horsman completed degrees in Applied Science (Civil Engineering) and Masters of Business Administration (Urban Land Economics) from the University of British Columbia.
Following university, Gordon relocated to Toronto and held executive positions at Cadillac Fairview. Mr. Horsman was Assistant General Manager of Phase I of Toronto Eaton Center, then General Manager of the Development of Phase II of that six city block project.
Following his experience at Cadillac Fairview Gordon moved back to Vancouver to form Westone Capital Corporation. Westone has participated in many large-scale development and acquisition projects.
Mr. Horsman was also one of three co-founders of Qtrade Investor, an on-line securities-trading platform which was merged with the Desjardins Group. Under Desjardins, Qtrade now has $11 billion of Assets Under Management (AUM).
